I like the option of OAuth, but me using or not does depend on the app. For some apps that I don't use often and tend to forget the login info for (like GrubHub or Uber) having OAuth as an option is handy.
If you are building an app, the option of OAuth may attract more people to sign up/register (one less login to remember). At the same time, it can be as an add-on for later (continuous improvement).
