In an infuriating and downright baffling move, YouTube has once again demonstrated its complete failure to address scams on its platform. Instead of taking down the rampant fake streams stealing millions in cryptocurrency, YouTube decided to remove our channel — a platform dedicated to exposing scams and protecting users.
Yes, you read that right.
Our channel, which was clean, compliant, and focused solely on fighting crypto fraud, was deleted without warning. Meanwhile, scammers continue to host fake livestreams for hours, siphoning millions from innocent users.
đź’¸ The Problem: Scam Streams Are Everywhere
Fake YouTube streams are a plague on the platform. Scammers impersonate public figures like Elon Musk, hijack clips of legitimate interviews, and promise “double-your-crypto” giveaways that are nothing but elaborate theft.
These streams don’t just pop up occasionally; they’re everywhere. It’s a well-known issue that affects thousands of users daily.
And what does YouTube do?
🤷‍♂️ Absolutely nothing.
These streams stay up for hours — even days — amassing views and stealing crypto while YouTube’s moderation system sleeps on the job.
🔨 Our Mission: Fighting Scams, Protecting the Community
Our channel was created with one purpose: to combat these scams.
We tracked and reported fake streams.
We educated users on how to spot and avoid scams.
We raised awareness about the growing threat of crypto fraud.
We didn’t break any rules. We didn’t post misleading content. All we did was try to make the platform safer.
And yet, YouTube decided we were the problem.
❌ Our Channel Was Unfairly Taken Down
YouTube’s decision to delete our channel is not just a mistake — it’s a slap in the face to everyone working to protect users from these scams.
We’re not the scammers. We’re the ones trying to stop them. But instead of supporting our efforts, YouTube punished us, while the real criminals continue to thrive.
When we appealed, we were met with a cold, automated response:
“You can view your appeal confirmation & anticipated review time in Studio.”
That’s it. No explanation, no accountability, no acknowledgment of the problem.
🔧 What Needs to Change
YouTube, it’s time to stop hiding behind algorithms and take real action:
🚨 Eliminate Scam Streams Quickly: Your current systems are failing catastrophically. It’s time to overhaul them.
🤝 Support Anti-Scam Efforts: Channels like ours are allies, not enemies. Reinstate us and others doing this vital work.
🛑 Stop the Copy-Paste Replies: Show you care with real solutions, not automated PR fluff.
🔍 Improve Accountability: Hire actual humans to moderate scams and appeals. Algorithms can’t fix this mess.
🛡️ To the Community: Let’s Fight Back Together
This isn’t just about our channel — it’s about holding platforms accountable for their failures. YouTube claims to prioritize user safety, but their actions show otherwise.
💡 If you’ve been affected by scam streams or seen similar injustices, don’t stay silent. Speak out, report scammers, and demand better.
🚨 Do Better, YouTube
By taking down our legitimate channel while letting scammers run wild, YouTube is proving that its priorities are deeply flawed.
Until they start prioritizing action over apathy, they aren’t just failing creators like us — they’re failing the entire internet community.
It’s time for YouTube to decide: Will they step up and fix this mess, or will they continue to let scammers win?
🌟 Let’s make noise and demand action. Together, we can make the internet safer.
