This is a really great article. Thank you for writing it. I have been job hunting for a while and it has been really hard on my mental health. I believe I am pretty qualified, but with the pandemic and employers wanting really talented, senior level employees, I think I am getting looked over for that. Which isn't anything I can control. I at least am getting interviews so there is that.
Thanks to the easy apply features now, I have a hard time working on applying to quality positions when it's literally so easy sometimes to apply to 20+ jobs in a day. But I'm trying not to panic, slow down, and spend more time working on quality positions and more time on my applications.
I always remind myself it's not a sprint, it's a marathon and I'll get back on my feet soon.

Yeah, "Easy Apply" has not yielded much success. I have had companies reach out to me after using it, but it never went further. I had more success finding the job post on the company website and applying there with a cover letter, it helps you stand-out instead of being lumped into all of the easy apply candidates on the job board. Good luck!
