How to become productive?

Hi, my name is Saifullah Usmani. I am a Programmer and a Graphic Designer. I have been programming for almost 5 years now. And I have worked with several freelance clients.

If it sounds like a thing that will add value in your life then consider following my page because I keep creating quality content for you.

I know this is not the good way to promote stuff but:
Read this article on:

Also here if you like:
Intro:
Procrastination is the act of delaying or putting off tasks until the last minute, or past their deadline.

Well, this doesn't sound bad or terrifying until scientists do some research and start putting fears in your mind such as "Procrastination is a form of self-regulation failure characterized by the irrational delay of tasks despite potentially negative consequences".

Now I can see you are building some curiosity and tension around yourself. Relax, there is no fear or anything wrong with you. It is a common phenomenon that happens to humans. A human brain is a machine that assigns tasks to different parts of our body in a time-restricted manner. Meaning that the task must be completed in a given period of time, otherwise, if your heart decides to pump after an hour instead of following the order of your brain, you know what happens.

Here is what you should do:
Understand Parkinson's Law, this law defines why our brain does stuff in a time-restricted manner and how to use that to our advantage.
What is Parkinson's law?:
According to Parkinson's law:
work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion.
This means that our brain prioritizes things based on deadlines. The near the deadline the higher the priority.
Now, this brings us back to where we started, but you must have noticed something, we do not complete or start the work till the deadline is very close. It is because it doesn't have the same priority as other things which have shorter deadlines.
I hope you are getting my point.
But you must be thinking, how is this information helpful at all?

Here is how you can use this information to your advantage:
Simply, start creating fake deadlines.
This may sound silly but that actually works.
Our brain has a subconscious part that listens to us unintentionally. So we can use that to our advantage by saying that this work(which has to be done in 1 week) must be done in a day.
Now our subconscious brain stats prioritizing it to the top thinking it must be important so it kills other priorities and focuses only on this one. And the truth is, this work is actually doable in a day. That is why our brain gives it the last days of the week, but that often brings tension and thus makes us procrastinators which according to science is ...blah....blah...
You got the point.
If you don't believe me and think it is fake then you must go and do some research on actual Parkinson's law and let me know if I missed anything or conveyed wrong information.

Stay blessed and Happy!
