For the past year, I've been trying to make it easier for OSS devs to earn sustainable funding.
The core idea is that by offering a hosted FaaS API in addition to your open source project, it allows us to do bizdev & support for you with 80% of the revenue going back to the OSS authors.
OSS sustainability is a problem that I care deeply about, and while Saasify won't work for every project, it's my sincere hope that it will help the OSS community become more sustainable.
Our stack
KISS
Node.js (mostly JS, some TS).
MongoDB as primary datastore, Redis for enforcing rate-limiting.
ZEIT now / AWS Lambda for hosting serverless functions.
