Note that gooing freelancing requires not only technical skills,
but also a very different mindset.
If you were trained to be a good employee and change nothing to your vision of things, you will probably be a bad consultant/freelancer.

Although I am also not that much experienced but tried freelancing for sometime. It was a nice experience. I used upwork platform. You will need to have great focus and will have to invest an ample amount of time perfecting your profile as well as offers. These mark the first impression on the client and will be the deciding factor for whether you will get the job or not most of the time.

I don't think there is a hard number to how much experience you need to freelance.
I did some design freelance work out of college (was I great at it, no, but that's its own thing) and I do some freelance work now, 8+ years later.
