πŸ› πŸ— Projects Workflow

Hello everyone! πŸ‘‹πŸΎπŸ˜€

I hope you are staying safe indoors.

I'm working on a side project and I'd love to hear your thoughts on your development workflows. Do you focus on styling or functionality first? What other factors do you consider when working on your project as well...?

Curious.... asking for a friend that may or may not be me πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

From my perspective functionality should be there first if it is built for a particular functional purpose and not just to look good. Design can be added after in most cases but I can understand that never being as easy as it sounds.

If you can strike a balance between that I'd say go for it but would recommend building core functionality out first so you can show that it works if you ever need to demo it for others to provide feedback.

Make it usable first. Add minimal but responsive style. Deploy. Get feedback asap. Fail fast. Tell us what you had learn.

Functionality!

You don't add/change clothes to something dead (bad morbid analogy). Once you have a living, breathing application, then you can styling it to your heart's content. ;)
