Remote working requires a proper investment - I have colleagues that are remote workers and hire office space to provide the infrastructure they need, others had an initial investment to buy office chairs, tables, screens, etc. Discipline is also key, as we see in COVID times - it's easy to get demotivated working away from everyone else.
I had to do that infrastructure investment twice. Right before COVID me and my wife had sold our stuff and were ready hit the road. Well, didn't happen. And you are right, discipline is key.
