Just used the the Raspberry Pi Imager for the 1st time last night, after using Balena Etcher for a long time. The biggest benefit is that you can skip manual editing of the wpa_supplicant.conf file with the Imager. Just press ctrl + shift + x after before you press "write" and you can set the defaults for your network, including a public ssh key.
