Hello World!

Hello, I'm Raúl Ávila, and I have been coding professionally for more than 11 years.

I live in London, and I work for Pivotal Labs, the consulting division of Pivotal.

My main language is Java, but I can code in many other languages, such as Javascript, Python, Groovy, a bit of Scala...

My goal as a professional is making the code I produce as readable and maintainable as possible. In the last year I have embraced all the principles and practices of Extreme Programming. IMO, I think there isn't a better way to deliver software of the highest quality than applying XP.
