When deciding between Vue js and React js, business requirements and situations are typically crucial considerations. Both have exceptional abilities, are ideal, and satisfy particular company needs. In addition to their differences, Vue vs React 2023 have much in common.
Why Vue vs React 2023 Comparison?
Recently, Vue has gained much attention and become more well-known. Reactjs has been around for a while, and developers are always looking forward to moving their projects to a framework that performs better than the one they have been using all this time.
React and Vue are frequently distinguished since they do not have many similarities. Vue, a new technology on the market, has a variety of downsides, nevertheless. As a result, it will be necessary to closely contrast Vue vs React 2023 to determine which one can best meet your company's needs.
Vue vs React Popularity
React wins the popularity race between Vue vs React. Given that Facebook supports this tech, it is not surprising that it has a larger community and has become more well-known. Even though Vue requires less assembly and offers fewer tools and modules, the team is still promoting it.
Because React has been around since 2013 and is supported by the leading social media business Facebook, it has a much higher chance of finding engagement than Vue. On the other side, Vue.js is a new option with rising popularity.
Performance & Speed of Vue vs React Apps
Your Vue.js app becomes slower and less evident as you add more features. A React app, on the other hand, runs more rapidly, provides a better user experience, and has independent components that work well together. React's component-based architecture enables the development of single-page apps with superior durability.
Support for Vue vs React components
Both technologies offer sizable element libraries, encouraging developers to produce apps faster. Developer productivity is also increased by the ability to reuse component code when they build user interfaces using components.
You can quickly add libraries to apps created using Vue or React. Most of the React sources are enhanced iterations of pre-existing components. A lot of libraries use the plugin tool in Vue.
The Use of Mobile Devices
You may create native mobile apps for the platform using React Native, a hybrid mobile app framework. Develop native mobile apps to take advantage of your current skill set and save spending time learning a new technology from scratch. With React Native, you may use components similar to React to reuse up to 99% of the code between Android and iOS.
Vue is risky because it lacks a framework designed to build mobile apps. However, you can build apps using Weex, a mobile UI framework that uses Vue features and encourages web code reuse.
Vue vs React Ecosystem
Vue is a stand-alone framework, whereas React requires external libraries. Routing and state management are handled by other systems and React. By providing users with a single method to change the state, these frameworks make debugging simpler. Due to Facebook providing users power over react-redux and react-router, the ecosystem has grown increasingly fragmented.
Few libraries are Vue partners. Several React-required features, such as props validation, are currently offered in Vue. The primary Vue frameworks, such as Vuex and Vue-router, are maintained by the Vue team.
When to Use Which of the Two Frameworks: Vue vs React?
Use Vue if,
- You desire to create single-page applications and advanced web apps.
- Your existing apps' overall functionality needs to be increased.
- As soon as possible, you want to start working on your project.
- You want to keep your project's concerns well separated from one another.
Use React if,
- You want to create scalable apps without dealing with testing and debugging hassles.
- You are eager to develop media websites and streaming platforms.
- You desire to experiment with various tools, ecosystems, and libraries.
- You want to create a complex app with a quicker time to market.
The decision between Vue vs React for developing front-end apps comes down to a particular circumstance and your company's needs. You can now make a better choice because you have an explicit knowledge of both languages.
React is your best option if you want to build complex apps with the flexibility to quickly scale them by bringing on more developers and a flexible and robust framework. If not, Vue performs flawlessly when you want to create a minimal and precise app.

To learn more, I would recommend this article written by my colleague Eduardo: scalablepath.com/front-end/vue-js-.... He goes over the key differences between the two frameworks and even touches on the best use cases for each.
This is a good post, I'm working with React, and i come from C#, it's a strong change for me, but I've to say the learning curve for React was very short and easy.
I'm also currently learning reactjs (come from vuejs).
Vuejs have a easier learning curve but if you're looking for job i think react is the way to go.
Now i'm planning having both of them as skills.
