What is your favorite NAS distro/software?

Hey, at the time I'm trying to build my own NAS system and I'm looking around for good open source software to do so!

A few ideas:

  • FreeNAS/ TrueNAS
  • OpenMediaVault
  • Amahi
  • Just use Proxmox
