DevX Status Update

And so, spring begins

I hope you are enjoying as much as us the first Friday of Spring. As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, we find ourselves fully immersed in various pieces of work. We are also approaching the end of our first quarter over here, so we are sticking closely to our schedules to ensure we complete our current objectives.

General maintenance and open-source

We are currently focusing our efforts in bringing some quality of life updates to both our tools and the infrastructure surrounding them. Expanded testing, reviewed documentation, bugfixing and more is in the boiling pot. We are also making an effort to catch up with all the pending open-source contributions we have accumulated over time. If you have a PR in any of our repos, rest assured, we will be reviewing it in the coming weeks.

PDK via Chocolatey

Just giving you all a heads up if you’ve been using choco to download the PDK. We are currently experiencing problems with our PDK Chocolatey release and until the validation process is complete, it will not deliver the latest PDK but rather 3.0.0. Apologies for the hassle here! Fortunately, “winget” does pull down the latest so if you want to get the latest PDK on your windows server try something like this “winget install pdk”.

Community Contributions

We’d like to thank the following people in the Puppet Community for their contributions over this past week:
