Story of IoT

The phrase was met with… crickets, but Ashton remained well adept to keep sharing the ideas of uniting the internet with tangible objects for efficiency.
The phrase only became ubiquitous in 2008-2009 onwards, when the advancements of wireless communications, miniaturization of sensors, and the proliferation of internet connectivity paved the way for the concept of IoT.
