This is my first Major League Hacking Global Hack Week, my first Hacktoberfest, and my first encounter with appwrite.
I could honestly say that I am more than pleased with all three of these firsts. Upon setting up a new personal project on appwrite - a project that is quite close to my heart - I felt it necessary to take in the blank canvas that awaits my contribution.
The thought that appwrite is capable of such fluidity between backend to frontend is a relief in itself, as I am not the strongest programmer. I can complete a full project, however certain aspects consume my most valuable resource - time. Appwrite is designed with user-friendliness in mind, so even though I see a deadline fast approaching, I feel confident enough that I can take a breath and enjoy the temporarily empty page that is my yet-to-be-used personal project dashboard for my impending app.
As a completely Open Source project, appwrite is the ideal project for a lover of sharing knowledge and information such as myself; and with a slogan like 'Build like a team of hundreds', I do not see how my fellow solo-developers could resist not diving into the platform!
For those of you who are participating in Hacktoberfest, or just like to contribute to solid open source, their github is quite the popular resource. I would keep an eye out for what appwrite has to say or commit.
I will keep this post short and sweet, as I should get my project off of the drawing board and into its intended digital representation. I would like to thank appwrite for preparing an interface that helps me look forward to the entire process of creating something new!
