Go with your gut! There are 20+ roles on teams like this. If you're not feeling the Ruby - just keep learning. Read fun general books like The Elements of User Experience, and Ruined by Design, and The Common Sense books. Enjoy the (not coding) parts. We've done some of our best months of 'design' - with no little green boxes in our github. : )

Thank you for this advice and the book recommendations! I have a contractual obligation to keep up those little green broccoli, as my bootcamp calls them, but I'm really having a great time making those commits by learning what I WANT to learn.

P.S. I checked out your profile and can't wait to see more! As someone more interested in web design, UX/UI, and front-end development, it brings me much joy to see organizations that teach it.
