My journey into learning code and software development started around late 2011. Around this time MySpace was still very popular and had millions of active users. Including myself. I recall being able to write your own code to modify your myspace profile. I never imagined myself as a tech person who would want to write code or even hack away on a computer. But soon after, I would find myself learning to code and wanting to become the coolest programmer ever!, But in mid 2010 a film was released...
The Social Network
This movie inspired a flock of new developers and coders to start their journey into programming. This was the start of my journey, learning basic XHTML and CSS to code up static webpages. I soon started to learn PHP and MYSQL to develop a personal social network for myself, my brother and my friends. I could not get enough of coding.
Unfortunately I experience a very personal hardship including but not limited to homelessness at just 18 years old. I would fall into a pattern of personal hardships and including losing my father and other love ones...
So when everything seem to be dark and dim, inside of me the passion to learn programming burn bright in me. My goal and dream was and still is to launch multiple tech start-ups and push forward technology. I am currently studying Full-Stack-Development at Flat Iron school. When I graduate and complete this bootcamp, I plan to work along side other bright developers and possibly work with start-up companies to help them achieve greatness.
