Today I would like to write about how I pushed myself to develop a growth mindset. By the way, I just started with Samuel Johnson's quote because it strengthens me and helps me to never give up.
Let me talk about the topic of today “How I developed growth mindset this week” Before joining Awesomity Lab & Code of Africa's bootcamp; I used to think that I don't need to know how to do mockups, but now I have realized that to be a good frontend dev I need it.
Before applying to this bootcamp I was not into making mockups, but yesterday I challenged myself to do a design of YouTube in Figma! and I did it even though it does not look great yet but 'Great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance' as Samuel Johnson said. So I'm gonna keep on learning.
I believe that having a growth mindset will be a key to success and make my designing skills better. As I have realized that being the best frontend developer requires a little bit of designing mockups skills, So, effort, and persistence are all important for me to know how to do mockups.
In general, I just wanted to mentioned that I have learned a lot so far since I have applied to join this bootcamp, I have been working on different challenges and enjoying them.
This week I did not face so many challenges, the only challenge was internet connections when I had to work from home; but I improvised and overcome this by changing my internet provider.
