Every moment is a chance for us to start new.
A bit of history
I graduated from university a year ago with a diploma in IT. I applied for a lot of entry-level positions without any success. There is still a lot that I need to learn. Failure did disappoint me in the beginning, but I realised that not knowing much means I have a lot to learn and a lot of room to grow. A lot of coding to practice, so there is no room for regret and sorrow. I am quite introverted, but I think I will be alright with writing, so let us start.
Task of the day
Today, I started my first blog on Dev.to to document my coding journey!
Goal for the task
My goal is to reflect on my progress in coding and to document what I learn each week, especially where I fail.
"Failure is a great teacher if one attends its class instead of avoiding it."
Steps taken
- Created an account on Dev.to.
- Explored the editor and basic Markdown syntax.
- Wrote my first post structure with my friend's guidance.
Challenges Faced
Navigating Markdown was new to me, but I quickly picked up the basics!
Solution/Outcome
I’m excited to keep documenting each step and learning Markdown as I go.
Lessons Learned
Today, I learned the importance of consistent reflection and how Markdown works on Dev.to.
