Sorry you're not a fan. I respect your opinion. I'll be the first to admit I'm not a good writer, but hopefully through writing and feedback like this, I can get better!

It is just that there is a preponderance of articles out there on what language to learn first; or what language to learn next; that don't have such an attitude about Python. I would have thought that a writer would have picked up on this and either go with it; or put forward their argument for why Python should be classed as you described.
