what is the politest way to 'acknowledge' someone elses SMN and BMN accounts ?

by 'acknowledge' i mean in a positive way not in a spooky way !

my preferred method is to like the person then like their content AND if i have time and really like then i fav a post + fork a repo + retweet a tweet as appropriate !

BTW i try to never link to anyone i have never met in the real world on linkedin
