Masscode is closing its doors...

As of 2022, Masscode will no longer be updating its popular code snippet software. I gather its lack of popularity must be because Github gist is free and integrated into github. I really like this tool however because it makes saving snippets from VSCode very simplistic— just highlight and create snippet. It's likely I don't know what alternatives there are, but I'm currently using only freeware so maybe the Pro devs use a commercial program (or none at all?) Either way, sort of sad to see it go and wondering if I should just switch to using gists.

Do you use a code snippet organizer?

If so, which one?

I would say closes the door not all the way, leaving a gap of hope ))

I still hope that I get back to the project. But even if this does not happen, the project is quite stable, of course bugs are possible, but I do not think they will be critical.

Edit
I do not know if it is possible to say that the project is not popular having on September 2, 2022, 28k users per month. More likely not wanting to support the project for whatever reason.
