3 years back when I started learning programming, I thought of Java has a old fast grandpa, but after 2.5 years I have learned it's power, it's scalability, it's speed, it's cross platform abilities, how good it is for mobile development, backend development.
I know realise Java is not a old fast grandpa, it is a fast powerful legend.
