Some things I learned from my previous mentors as well as from my own past experience in interacting with others:
(1) Don't fake it, be authentic and genuine in our approach to others;
(2) Try to see things from other's point of view, situations are not easy as you think it is;
(3) Do not judge others, everyone has their own valid reason for their actions;
(4) Give everyone the benefit of doubt and everyone deserves a second chance;
(5) Listen to others first and then respond objectively or rationally;
(6) Take emotions out of any kind of response. Emotions will cloud your judgement most of the time;
(7) Think positive side of every situation or blockers evens;
(8) Worrying about something that is not in your hands will not help to resolve the issue, so stop worrying if you cannot do anything to fix the issue
(9) You do not have to respond to everything that you see or hear. Some are just noise to distract you from your objective. Let them be, ignore them;
(10) World does not revolve around you, so don't make everything about you and get worried or tensed or angry.
Thought of sharing this, above points are easier said than done. I am still struggling with some even now.
