Great write up, couldn't agree more! So much value comes from using a framework. There is no point in trying to reinvent the wheel and rolling your own application structure and design patterns.
Only thing I would add to this is there is a lot of value in knowing the difference between all the front-end frameworks out there at the moment. For example Gatbsy has different use cases compared to Nextjs and should be considered when picking a framework.
