What podcasts are you listening to these days?

Short and sweet. What podcasts have you been listening to lately? Also, they don't necessarily need to be tech related.

If you're interested in Design Systems / React, I've written up my favorites of the first quarter very recently :)

Otherwise, newest addition would be Design System Office Hours:

The classics :

  • Syntax podcast by with Wes Bos and Scott Tolinsky (web dev)
  • FreeCodeCamp podcast (mostly career advice and inspiration)
  • WomenInTech podcast (career oriented)

Other gems :

  • Generally Intelligent (interviews of researchers in the AI field)
  • You are not so smart (interviews and discussions about a variety of topics)
  • TED Talks Daily (on Apple Podcasts, don't know if it's anywhere else)

Worth exploring :

  • Coaching for Leaders by Dave Stachowiak (leadership/ management but I recommend it to any professional)
  • The Failure Factor: stories of career perseverance (interviews of professionals in various fields. Everything is in the title. I recommend it to everyone.)

Bridget Todd chronicles our experiences online, and the ways marginalized voices have shaped the internet from the very beginning. We need monuments to all of the identities that make being online what it is. So let’s build them.

There's a new one with Sean C Davis where he interviews prominent members of the developer community. The conversations so far have been a lot of fun. codesandwichhour.buzzsprout.com/

None actually because Twitter Spaces are like real time podcasts 😅 But if I was to return it would be to Syntax, DEV and CodeNewbie.
