NFTScan, founded in April 2021, and headquartered in Hong Kong, marked a significant milestone on September 4, 2021. On that day, the NFTScan team launched the official version of the NFTScan Explorer and unveiled its global brand domain, NFTSCAN.COM.
Fast forward to September 4, 2023. Over two years have passed, and NFTScan proudly celebrates the 2nd anniversary of the official release of its core product, the NFTScan Explorer. On this occasion, we reflect on the achievements and milestones attained by the NFTScan team during these two years of dedication and growth.
Team Evolution
From its humble beginnings with just four members, the NFTScan team has grown to comprise 15 individuals. It has transformed into a tech-driven blockchain infrastructure developer team. NFTScan team members, all exceptional young talents born in the 1990s, graduated from renowned institutions like the University of Electronic Science and Technology, China University of Political Science and Law, and Korea University. The core members of the NFTScan team possess years of development experience in areas such as crypto wallets, DeFi, price oracles, and big data security.

Multichain Expansion
Over the past two years, NFTScan started from the Ethereum network and expanded to accommodate other scaling solutions like BNBChain, Polygon, Solana, as well as Layer 2 networks like Arbitrum, Optimism, Linea, and zkSync. We further extended our support to non-EVM blockchains such as Aptos and Bitcoin.
Currently, NFTScan provides NFT data support for 17 different blockchain networks, with plans to support over 20 by the end of 2023.
In this journey, we engaged with numerous Web3 developers and professionals, capturing valuable insights into everything from raw NFT data to industry trends, making NFTScan an invaluable resource for staying at the forefront of the industry.
NFT Data Scale
At present, across the 17 major blockchain networks supported by NFTScan, we’ve parsed 2.8 million NFT Collections, 1.14 billion NFT assets, 1.7 billion on-chain records, and identified 130 million wallet addresses.

Leveraging our analysis and standardization of on-chain NFT data, we’ve launched various core products and services, including:

As of now, the NFTScan Developer Platform has over 4,600 registered developers and served more than 1,000 Web3 projects, including industry-leading projects such as Binance NFT, HashKey Group, CoinMarketCap, Enjin, Mask, imToken, Bybit, KuCoin, OneKey, and more.
The NFTScan NFT API has responded to over 5.5 billion external requests, providing comprehensive multichain NFT data services and support to Web3 developer teams.
Future Outlook
NFTScan will continue expanding across multiple chains to serve more developers and NFT users within diverse blockchain ecosystems. Our commitment is to deliver high-quality NFT data retrieval services.
Additionally, we are gearing up to launch a new product, NFTScan Site, which will offer NFT ecosystem projects a one-stop management platform, enhancing brand influence and user acquisition efficiency.
The NFTScan team is also actively exploring the development of L2&L3 application chains within the NFT ecosystem to further promote Mass Adoption in the NFT domain.
