RubyConf TH 2023: A Gathering of the Ruby Community in Bangkok - Day 2

Day 2: of RubyConfTH went pretty smooth. We had an open panel session with some of the todays speakers. We had pretty informative talks from great speakers. Next RubyConfTH will be held in January/February 2025.

Big thanks for organisation. Thank you for all attendees. Great experience.. cant wait for the next Ruby Conference. Long Live Ruby!

Jemma Issroff is a Ruby Core committer who works on Shopify's Ruby Infrastructure team. She is also a co-founder of WNB.rb, a women / non-binary Ruby community, and a co-host on The Ruby on Rails Podcast.

Ben Halpern is the co-founder of Forem, an open source software company that operates DEV and other social networks. Ben has been writing Ruby code for about 15 years.

Brad Urani is a coder, karaoke singer and barbecue evangelist. When not skiing, hiking or hacking, he preaches the wonders of Ruby and SQL as a Principal Engineer at Procore

Hitoshi Hasumi, a programmer at Monstarlab, is the creator of PicoRuby & PRK Firmware. He maintains ruby/irb and ruby/reline. Winner of Fukuoka Ruby Award First Prize in 2020 & 2022, and a Ruby Prize 2021 final nominee.

Helio Cola has created things primarily in C/C++ & Ruby, over the past 20+ years. He first met Ruby at v1.8.7 and Rails 2.x in 2010 and he is a Happy Developer since then. He is currently a part-time Rails consultant, while building a new product and doing some OSS!

Huy Du is a Software Engineer driven by a genuine passion for his craft. He loves tackling complex challenges in finance and technology. He firmly believes that technology can revolutionize our world in every aspect, and he’s excited about using his skills to make a positive impact.

Michael Milewski is a developer keen on the people side of things. He loves pairing, and in particular with people new to writing software. He especially likes driving software out with tests and directing the evolution of the design. In his spare time he is busy camping with his 4 kids.

Rishi Jain is currently working with OmbuLabs where he does Rails upgrades, performance tune reports, open-source contributions. In my spare time, I like to travel, play any sport, play games on his PS, and spend time doing nothing at all.

Selena Small is a full-stack lead engineer at Fresho in Melbourne Australia who is particularly passionate about TDD. As a self-taught coder with a background in management, she is well-equipped to mentor others. In her spare time, she is a nak muay ying, a professional kickboxer.
