I struggle with nav bars but just learned about the w3-css “bootstrap” as I like to call it for nav bars and creating websites like. I think it’s cool but I also want to make my own. So should I start with those and then move over to making my own ?

Yeah it's really a pain, if you are completely beginner you can try bootstrap way but It won't work properly when you don't have internet and have to stick with those styling particularly,
Second way Is learning from youtube there are few good teachers there, I take reference from youtubers named Kevin Powell or dev ed, they really teach well.
I’m using internet lol. I am working with w3-css it’s cool especially for quick put togethers

I am a beginner. I’m just trying to found other ways to do nav bars and this is my first dev group being around. I was just saying I’ve seen some YouTube vids on people using w3 school w3-css link.
