My answer for new writers is this balanced can only be reached through consistent writing - you will see what appeals and what doesn't on certain platforms. Some readers likes seeing random GIFs, pictures/screenshots of your work + your thought process, but some just want to see the instructions & main takeaways for them.
In trying to reach that balance, also remember why you're motivated to write 👍 so while trying to please ur target audience, stay true to your personality!
