I don't have any definitive facts, but I'd recommend playing it by ear a little. Almost ask yourself the question "what's the point of using dev.to, if none of my content is here?"
I'd aim for maybe a 75 / 25 split, where 75% of your content exists in full on dev.to, and 25% links off to your blog.

I don't mind one or two articles which do this, but I'd advise not doing it for all of your articles :) That would be annoying for me.

Based on this tip and Ali Spittel's talk on blogging, I edited all my posts and just added the full content. :) Thanks again for the suggestion!
