Thanks for writing this up. I was trying to get my head around _hovergroup property and your example did it for me (possibly the only example on the internet as of 2020-01). Didn't know about the sx prop either, so that's a bonus.
Out of curiousity how did you come across these? I didn't see anything about how to use _hoverGroup in chakra docs except for one reference that says that the property exists.
