Design suggestions

First and foremost, I would like to let anyone reading that I am realllllllllllllyyy new(and BAD) at Designing(never been my strong suit), but lately I've been thinking about hopefully making a Portfolio for myself, and yeah you guessed it, I need some decent inspirations for my small brain to get an idea of what to make.
Though I am not completely relying on an inspiration and lazing around, I actually have already started experimenting some designs with my Portfolio, you can check it at Link.

P.S., please keep in mind that I am not really looking for an excessively fancy Portfolio, I only want one that's worth the time looking at.

Thank you for reading!

My first comment would be to ask why FOLIO is a different colour from the rest of the word?

It’s not a bad portfolio but it is busy while also being quite brief... You could do with some white space to give everything some time to breathe.

There’s one trail I’ve fallen into many times is that I know exactly how I want the desktop version to look. When it comes to mobile I’m then in a position of either doing the minimum to make it work or working it. Neither is ideal.

I would suggest you scale it down, make this work and look it’s best on a small screen first and then look at how you would enhance it for visitors who have more real estate to work with.

That’s enough about the design... your copy is OK, but run it through Grammarly where it will help you to tailor it for the audience you’re trying to reach. It’s a bit... bullet point-y at the moment. In think you could either create a really nice paragraph with a bit of restructuring or commit to the points and just improve the layout.

Hope that was all constructive, you’ve made a great start!
