Why aren’t you making the most of your SAP systems

"I don't know what the rate is but I think the average customer has been back for six years… maybe more." In his day address at SAP SAPPHIRE NOW 2019 Hasso Plattner talked about the importance of being able to change SAP systems quickly and often. But he also pointed out how difficult it is for many companies to make major changes to their SAP systems.

Unfortunately for such firms, major sap basis training in delhi projects are at a higher level today than at any other time in recent history. Examples include cloud migration, deploying S / 4HANA, and simply delivering up-to-date ECC systems ahead of the 2025 support deadline. At the same time, the need for greater accountability calls for SAP teams to work faster - a significant change.
So what keeps the firms from starting these programs? The complexity and complexity involved in managing the same development of SAP is often a major problem, whether in large projects such as development or in agile sprint teams. sap basis online training.

Similar developments in SAP typically refer to the ‘multi-track’ (or ‘N + N’) environment, where SAP standalone systems are used to allow teams to work with unique and / or complex software development without risk to day-to-day business.

But working separately on cut-off systems presents its challenges. Everything has to be kept aligned and, most importantly, disputes should be identified and resolved to avoid the risk of disruption when updates are sent to critical business production plans.

This complexity - and the effort required to control it - often means that a multi-track approach is reserved for major projects. Equally, it is completely avoided, in which case projects can add value but are seen as important - such as the use of ECC Enhancement Packs or the new release of S / 4HANA - may not be possible. The cost of emerging opportunities can be huge.

Concurrent development is not just about big projects but. New approaches such as agile and DevOps allow firms to respond to the market quickly by delivering very small units of change, but require teams to work with multiple developments simultaneously (or ‘sprint’).

This raises the same question: how is it possible that such rapid development - albeit a small one - can be managed simultaneously without providing immediate security? In some firms, the multi-track approach is part of the answer here, too. One customer for Basis Technologies, Nokia's Swedish communications giant, is using the N + 10 location to allow sprint teams to operate independently. sap basis training in Noida

But if N + 1 projects are such a big challenge, how can N + 10 development be possible?
The answer lies in the automatic. Proper automation removes manual effort from the development of multiple tracks. It means you don't have to follow every change and every potential conflict. Systems are automatically saved to synch - more than 90% of the time - and conflicts are automatically identified. Testing - often a major stumbling block - is also much faster, easier and more efficient.

Every IT leader who initiates, or anticipates, major transformation projects such as S / 4HANA migration should consider the role that automation can play in making those systems delivered more affordably, at a higher speed, with minimal risk.
