Seeking connections: Nothing beats knowing a real developer

Are you an IOS - swift developers. I want to discuss swift, but I don't know whom to tap for such discussions ( #Stackoverflow is cool, but nothing beats a real developer).

So my knowledge on swift = limited. Today I learned:

So far I have been using Int() to convert a string into a number, and swift returns an optional.

But today, I used Int() to convert from a Double to an Int and it didn't return an optional. It was shocking. I got so used to unwrapping the optional, that I thought it was needed in this case as well.

I am looking forward to learning more cool stuff, it would be cool to have a few swift connections.
