I've been a professional C, Perl, PHP and Python developer.
I'm an ex-sysadmin from the late 20th century.
These days I do more Javascript and CSS and whatnot, and promote UX and accessibility.
I don't follow particular developers on YouTube, however I do see the site itself as an amazing resource for anything technical.
If I need to know how to do something and can't find clarity from the docs or some SO answers within a couple of minutes, I often check to see whether some 12-year-old enthusiastically showing of their new knowledge can explain it to me in small words. I've learned so much that way :) Not just dev stuff, but everything from how to use vector graphics programs to how to repair dodgy plumbing.
