Warning, Glacier has a high retrieval costs that is hard to calculate for newbie users.
I used Glacier to store my raw photo files, and one day I decided to download circa 100 GB of them. Huge mistake, I paid 140 euros on fees.
Putting up lots of stuff to glacier is cheap, but taking it back at once was very, VERY, expensive. Don't use Glacier for stuff that you might want to get all at once, or you will make the same mistake I did.
Thanks for this information, I was not aware of this. I use Glacier for quite some time, but I only needed to retrieve data from it a couple of times, about 1 GB each, so the costs were negligible.
