We have prepared several categories of open issues that are ideal for first-time developers, low-code, and no-code contributors.
They fall into the following categories:

1. Integration Ideas

Share a well-described idea of a new MindsDB integration. The authors of top upvoted ideas will get a T-shirt, cool audio gadgets, and a cash prize:

1st place: $500
2nd place: $300

Make video tutorials of using MindsDB and invite everyone to watch them on YouTube. The authors of the most popular videos will get a T-shirt, cool audio gadgets, and a cash prize:

The Prize Draw

For every 10 points, you will receive one entry into the draw for the awesome Razer Blade 15 Laptop powered by the top NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, 14-core Intel i9 CPU and more…

You can also win one of the 10 audio gadgets of your choice:
JBL Earbuds or Rugged Outdoor Speaker

Entries will close at midnight (PST) Monday, 31st of October with the winner announced on the first week of November.

To participate, you need to have your GitHub PRs merged and complete the form with your details before November 1st.

Additional rewards

Authors of the top 3 upvoted ideas and top 3 video tutorials or winners of the prize draw, will get the gadget they like – either JBL Wireless Earbuds or Rugged Outdoor Speaker.

SWAG

Get a high-quality MindsDB t-shirt for contributing with at least 5 points making pull requests to any of our open issues labeled Hacktoberfest. Please complete the form by November 1st, so that we know your size and where to send the t-shirt.

How to participate

2. Check MindsDB Hacktoberfest labeled issues. If you have an idea that you don’t see listed then simply open a new issue with your proposal.
