Thanks for sharing this Tuni! The tech interview process is terrible in so many ways. In many non-tech industries, I think the culture fit thing is a lot more clear and obvious (and still humbling).
But in software we’ve got this weird technical aspect to it, which isn’t necessarily so much grounded in tech but in whether your approach to the tech aligns with theirs. Oh and “culture” too.
And often it’s not clear at all whether it was the tech, your approach to the tech, or “culture” that excluded you. So your own worst self doubts will surface, when it could have been something a lot more to do with the company than with you.
It’s hard for everyone, not just newbies.
