IMHO this is not a problem software will solve. The problem is not the existing tools but the way they are used. It needs to be addressed at a company culture level where communication rules can be set.
Definitely agree. I think ultimately I was after selling the lifestyle. Deep work is an aquired taste. I work well this way while others prosper with constant interaction.
Getting buy in on an entire team on this new ideal would be a tough sell for anyone.
I still think there's something there but perhaps less about software and more about a new wave of "how to work".
