SENIOR FRONT-END DEVELOPER / REACT SPECIALIST
Hanson is seeking passionate, creative people for a full-time position in our Front-End Development group. Candidates must be able to prioritize tasks effectively, communicate well with teammates and clients, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment. They should be able to handle feedback maturely and strive to improve their skills and stay current with emerging trends. Familiarity with the entire web development process, from planning and design through development and deployment is highly desired.
Ideal candidate will possess 3-5+ years industry experience and competence with the React Framework. Must have a portfolio and/or URL links to examples of work.
Required Tasks
· Work with cross-functional teams that include software engineers, system engineers, visual designers, functional architects and account managers to translate visual designs into working interfaces
· Create digital solutions that transcend the web, such as mobile and interactive point-of-sale kiosks
· Execute designs based on established branding and guidelines with great attention to detail
· Meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards and adhering to established estimates
· Illustrate ability to use motion and user-feedback to produce fluid experiences
· Be able to switch gears quickly and effectively
· Attend internal and client project meetings as needed
· Understands web usability and best practices
Core Functional Skills
· Intermediate/Advanced JavaScript ES6 Experience
· Experience creating Functional and Class Components with JSX
· Experience building complex React applications from REST endpoints
· Experience with Redux and/or React Context API
· Experience setting up and configuring Webpack and other task runners
· Experience with Bootstrap, Material UI, JS in CSS and SASS/LESS desirable
· Good understanding of web standards, responsive design
· Experience with source control and working in a team environment
· Experience with mobile and app development desirable
· Experience testing in multiple browsers and devices
· Intermediate/Advanced TypeScript experience particularly within React applications desirable
· Experience working with and understanding site maps, user flow diagrams, wireframes and other information design documents for websites

This position is out of our Toledo, OH office. We are currently working in a hybrid work-from-home and in-office model, so you’ll be collaborating with Hanson teams in person and/or via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack and email.
