Great article. I've had problems in the past (wrist and back) and it took a long time to get rid of the pain (which always seems to be lurking nearby if I let my guard down).
Be careful with that little mouse wheel used for scrolling. I find that using it too much triggers my wrist pain, so that movement is likely damaging in the long run.
May I suggest a vertical mouse such as the Evoluent Vertical Mouse 4? I got one as part of the recommendations of an ergonomic assessment at work and, even though it took a few days to get used to it, I've never looked back and find it hard to use a normal or even other ergonomic mouse after that. It was instrumental in getting rid of my wrist pain.
