Use micro-projects to keep development fun and test your skills

When practicing our HTML and CSS skills, it is common to either just keep learning on the job or take courses that include building out medium-to-large scale projects.

However, a valuable use of time can be to build micro-projects that test your skills and provide fun little side-experiments.

These projects could be absolutely anything. They could be as silly or as serious as you like. Personally, I love looking through Dribbble to find design inspiration.

Below, you can see a Pen I created yesterday morning over a cup of coffee, inspired by Gis1on’s shot:

Have you done any micro-projects lately? If so, I’d love to see them!
