As I will be moving away from Medium for blogging (not that much posts yet, but I'm going to hopefully write more this year) I have to decide where to move to.

I really like dev.to so far, but I'm not sure yet if I should run my own blog (with Gatsby.js) and cross-post to dev.to (and others) or if I should use dev.to as my main blog (and cross-post from there).

What do you think, what is your blogging strategy?

It depends on your spectations. My gatsby site is more an experiment field than a blog, and dev.to serves well to get my weekly writing itch. If you want to make blogging more serious, then you should definetly start crossposting and developing your brand and your readers. If you are like me and it's just writing for pleasure, then it doesn't really matter.
