Remember that an estimate is exactly that, an estimate - we try to be as accurate as possible but other things can get in the way.
Break it down, think about other factors as well like pull a project down and getting it setup and running as that can eat into time on a task.
When I have a rough idea of what time I think it's going to take, I add in extra time. Maybe an hour for smaller tasks, a few hours for larger ones. Just to give myself some breathing space and enough time for testing. And if I'm finished sooner, no one will complain :)
