1 - What is the best name?
This is the first but if you don't have any name for now, no problem you should have before publish your podcast.
A time ago I listened a podcast and they said to no add the name podcast or even cast as a name, but I disagree because the name should be unique having or not podcast or cast.
2 - How to record?
On my podcast I use to record on Zoom application, since I record with some friends, but if you record alone this record could be using any software as GarageBand.
3 - How to edit?
To edit sometimes the best part of podcast I use GarageBand
if you've a MacBook.
I look for other softwares but defenetively the GarageBand for me until today is the best.
4 - Where I could find sound effects?
The sound effects could be added inside the GarageBand or import sounds from iMovie or even search on the internet for some track such as https://movie-sounds.org/
5 - Is there any free host?
Yes, for instance https://www.podcasts.com is a site where you use as a host server to share you podcast to others channels such as Spotify, Apple, Google and son on.
6 - Share you podcast
As said on item before some big players are Spotify, Apple, Google and TuneIn, so once you've one host to your podcast, it's time to share your feed to players.
