From 46 applications sent, spanning giants like FAANG to nascent startups, only two translated into interviews. The cold, impersonal nature of today's hiring process stands out glaringly. An advanced technology that can sideline a candidate without human intervention seems more like a setback than progress.

Same boat, week2 going on now. All the dreams shatter and huge financial and emotional loss which cannot be fixed in this lifetime, especially for the kids.
What I learnt about job searching is, get intentional and apply selected companies. Go through referrals, make resume attractive to that company, fill in lies no one cares or reads it so much. Its very very hard. Panicking makes things worse, its illogical to get weaker when we need to be at our best. Its hard in practice , but many are in same boat. Stay strong.
