Tell me one of your startup Stories.

Hey Everybody 👋 it’s Antonio here, CEO & Founder at Litlyx.

Everybody who is working in this field has some fire inside that tells us to "keep pushing." I have felt this way for a long time.

I want to ask you all to share one of your startup/project stories here, in particular, what challenges you are facing right now or have faced that make you and your team the people you are today.

Thanks for sharing. I started razorsharp.dev, its an application performance monitor plus some more for C# .NET applications. The goal is to collect metadata and squeeze max value out of it whether its engineering productivity, enhanced security or deeper insight to take informed business decisions.
Product-market-fit can indeed be hard, to get the first customers willing to iterate with you. Fortunately im my "own" customer in full-time work as developer consultant, asking myself what I wish I had.

I started learning programming with C# and it seems very helpful what you provide with your service. I can see that is a dev tool for high devs. But please, do an iteration on your UI. Is important today in order to be more understandable. When i opened your landing page that wall of text scared me it was long to read and is pretty clear, but scary. Just an advice, sorry if i permitted but i felt like this.

Thank you for the advice, thats how we grow. I tried to do a SEO optimization a while ago, and it said the text were too short etc. I will do a new iteration soon.

One of my stories: I’m launching Litlyx, and it is really difficult to find product-market fit at this stage. So I’m starting to talk with everybody. A lot of times I get asked, “But why are you launching an analytics system in 2024? Don’t you fear the big players?” I’m getting some rejection from the older generations and at the same time, I’m getting approval from the younger generations.
Many of the younger generation do not have much money, whereas the older generation has a lot of money but finds it difficult to understand Litlyx. Now I’m trying to better organize my speeches, even though I’m still facing this challenge.

You made me remember a history around 2000 year

In Spain we were living a typical economic crisis and nobody wanted to start a new project so when a friend of mine referring us to a possible client we prepared a plan project (loosing money probably but...) and presented to him.

Still remember it was an application to modernize an old Call Center of a small optic company with 5-6 receptionists so we designed a web application to be ready in 3-5 months.

Imagine: year 2000, web applications was disruptive, lot of risks but excitements ...

The client liked the idea but after a couple of weeks waiting the decision, at the end he decided not assign to us the project because ... the sales went so good that he went to sold his company to a big company and be retired

So in a crisis time we were able to find the only customer with profits and it was the same as to find a customer without money to start a new project

Amazing story. Thanks a lot for sharing mate. The wild 2000, i was 4 years old at that time, but i heared a lot about that period (.com bubble, everybody throwing money).
