Choosing to delve into programming didn't come out of the blue. I have always been drawn towards environments that challenge the mind, where smart problem-solving is the name of the game. My background in Cryogenic engineering has further cultivated my interest in technology and set a firm foundation for this next step. I cherish the idea of balancing autonomy and teamwork, as both are intrinsic aspects of a programmer's life.
The world of coding fascinates me - it's a realm where creativity and logic intertwine. It's not just about writing code but about crafting solutions, tackling complex problems, and, let's face it, occasionally creating new ones! But that's all part of the fun - learning from mistakes, troubleshooting, and coming out on the other side with newfound knowledge.
Starting with Dart and Flutter was a strategic decision influenced by various factors. Their multi-platform capabilities allow me to develop apps for multiple devices from a single codebase, a highly efficient and appealing feature for a beginner like me. Furthermore, Dart and Flutter's user-friendly nature and clear, readable syntax provide an easier learning curve. The growing trend and popularity of Dart and Flutter in the tech community also hint at their potential to revolutionize modern development practices, making them an exciting choice for my foray into programming.
Getting started programming has been challenging. Many of the programming concepts take time to understand. I also sometimes feel like I need to rush toward some unknown goal rather than take the time I need to learn at my own pace.
As I embark on this exhilarating journey with Dart and Flutter, I have set clear objectives to keep my learning on track. My immediate goal is to apply the foundational knowledge I acquire to create my first simple yet cool application, such as creating an interactive excursion map for visitors to my city. These initial projects will serve as stepping stones, providing hands-on experience and deepening my understanding of the practical aspects of programming.
Beyond making some simple apps, my aspirations extend to the professional realm. I aim to secure a job in a forward-thinking company where innovation is at the forefront and learning is an integral part of the culture.
