It's easy to get caught up in the hype of quitting your day job and making a living as a solopreneur or entrepreneur. The internet is full of "influencers" and motivational speakers who make it seem like anyone can achieve financial freedom by simply following a few easy steps or buying the latest course or bootcamp.
But the reality is often much different. Many of these so-called role models are actually selling dreams and emotions rather than showing the real struggles and sacrifices required to achieve true success. Building a business takes hard work, dedication, and a willingness to put in the time and effort to create a solid foundation.
Don't be fooled by those who promise quick and easy success. The path to entrepreneurship and solopreneurship is often filled with challenges and setbacks, and it requires a lot more than just a catchy hashtag or a few bucks earned from a side hustle. It takes hard work, determination, and a willingness to put in the time and effort to build a solid foundation.
So before you quit your day job and jump on the solopreneur or entrepreneur bandwagon, take the time to think critically about your goals and be prepared for the challenges that lie ahead. Success doesn't come overnight, and it often requires a lot more than just a catchy slogan or a few bucks earned from a side hustle.
Remember, true success is the result of hard work, determination, and a willingness to put in the time and effort to build a solid foundation. Don't be swayed by the hype – take the time to think critically about your goals and be prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.

I agree. I think one of the difficulties is also that although developers are usually good are writing software, "solopreneur" must also deal with marketing and running it as business, which is a completely different challenge.
